JOB PURPOSE:
The primary role of the Senior Manager of Facilities Management (FM) is to oversee all repair and maintenance programs and projects for a national network of more than 2,400 US retail stores. The person in this role will lead a small team of 4-6 coworkers and manage relationships with a large contractor base. The position is based in Plano, Texas and reports to the Senior Director of Construction.
 
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

-Hire, develop, and lead a team of FM professionals

-Oversee the configuration and use of an FM software solution to manage repairs and maintenance (e.g., Service Channel)

-Receive, process, and track to completion all requests for repairs and maintenance from store operations and from landlords

-Approve, contract, and administer a nationwide network of contractors

-Coordinate as required with other Development Department teams, including market planning, real estate, lease administration, and construction on the approval of major repairs

-Coordinate with landlords and/or their managing agents when required by specific lease terms and conditions

-Ensure that appropriate parties responsible under the lease take action to resolve open work issues

-Obtain relevant reimbursements for repairs paid by RAC in emergency situations

-Manage routine periodic reports and communicate preventive maintenance schedules to field operations as required

-Support the department on special projects and additional duties as assigned

 

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

 

-Bachelor’s degree, preferably in a technical field

-Minimum of 5 years of directly related Facilities Management experience

-Minimum of 3 years of retail industry experience

-Experience with Service Channel or related solutions preferred

-Able to professionally communicate with RAC Executives, Operations, Landlords and Managing Agents, and Contractors

-Strong customer service orientation and skills

-Highly organized with a strong ability to multi-task

-Industry expertise and a clear understanding of repair and maintenance work and related costs

-Strong computer skills with proficiency in Microsoft Office
